On Saturday, December 9, 2011, Local 344, along with Detroit Police unions, met with Mayor Bing, chief of staff Kirk Lewis, City Council President Charles Pugh and his staff in Mayor Bing's conference room. The reason for the meeting was the continuing fiscal crisis and our role.
